​Anthony Chavez is a commercial litigator with experience representing clients with business disputes in various industries in state and federal court. Anthony has successfully handled numerous cases involving employee theft and embezzlement, misappropriation of trade secrets, False Claims Act violations, business torts, contract disputes, and business governance disputes. Drawing on experience gained while attending college in the Silicon Valley and working for a tech company before attending law school, Anthony is adept at litigation-support technology, e-discovery, privacy and data protection, and assisting companies with ensuring their websites are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Experience

Before joining Novian & Novian, Anthony practiced at Nixon Peabody, Friedman Stroffe & Gerard, Best Best & Krieger, and Downey Brand, where he represented small and large companies, public agencies, and individuals in complex civil, criminal, and administrative matters.

Anthony graduated from Stanford University in 2008 where he earned a B.A. in both Political Science and Communication.  Thereafter, Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law where he was a Topic Editor on the Hale Moot Court Honors Program Executive Board and a member of the USC Law National Moot Court Team.
