Lindsey Phipps is a litigator specializing in employment and business litigation and commercial transactions. Over the course of her career, Lindsey has represented and counseled public entities and businesses of all sizes in a wide variety of employment and business disputes including disability-access compliance and litigation, breach of fiduciary duty and trade secrets litigation, workplace discrimination, harassment and retaliation, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour class actions and actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (i.e., “PAGA”), as well as the development and implementation of employment practices and policies for employers. In her practice, Lindsey is driven by her passion for public policy, which has been instrumental in making her a creative and successful advocate on behalf of employers and entities of all forms.
Experience
Prior to joining Novian & Novian LLP, Lindsey practiced at Wood, Smith, Henning, and Berman and Kjar, Mckenna & Stackalper where she represented both public and private entities and their respective insurance carriers where applicable, in employment and commercial disputes and litigation.
Lindsey graduated from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution in 2017. At Pepperdine, she served on the Editorial Board of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal and was President of the Criminal Law Society. Before attending law school, Lindsey received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of San Diego.
