Paul Rogoff is a senior counsel who represents individual and commercial clients in complex litigation matters in both state and federal court. He has extensive experience in all stages of the litigation process, from pre-litigation counseling and negotiations through trial, including post-trial collections and appeals. Paul is a business, real estate, anti-trust and entertainment litigator with experience in a wide range of challenging, high-profile matters.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a J.D./M.B.A., Paul was a federal law clerk for the Hon. William Wayne Justice in the U.S. District Court, W.D. Tex. Austin, TX. Paul then spent six years at O’Melveny & Myers in Century City where he handled a number of high-profile, bet-the-company cases. He then spent a number of years at Bryan Cave where he managed and ran a full caseload of banking-related cases on behalf of two of the nation’s largest banks. Prior to Covid, Paul practiced for five years at Hunt Ortmann, where he sharpened his trial skills and focused largely on real estate litigation.
Experience
- Helped to obtain a $1.25 billion monopolization settlement and wide-ranging injunctive relief on behalf of Advanced Micro Devices in its anti-trust suit against Intel. The settlement capped a series of litigation and regulatory wins around the world.
- Represented Walden Media in suit against Clive Cussler regarding the film Sahara. Active role in three-month jury trial involving alleged fraudulent conduct and breach of contract. The jury returned a $10M verdict in favor of Walden Media.
- Served as second chair in three-week trial on behalf of a prominent Pasadena hospital against its general contractor regarding new construction to expand its patient care facilities.
- Served as second chair in two-month trial for real estate developers involving breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, and breach of contract in connection with building of luxury apartment complex in Orange County.
- Represented general contractor Mallcraft, Inc. in arbitration against the Glendale Community College District. A multi-million dollar settlement was achieved on behalf of the GC.

Pro Bono
- Won asylum for a Cameroonian refugee and fought for derivative asylum status for his wife and children.
